Hello! Thank you for considering our game! Here is a real time image of us waving to you!

To answer your questions:

We (sadly) would not be able to accept player-specific translations, but are willing to look at materials translated by other fans that are widely available and accepted by the fandom at large. This is a bit of a gray area for us, because we recognize that there is potential for fan-produced translations and canon translations to be out of alignment on certain aspects (we're thinking specifically of instances where a character's name was not 'officially' romanized until a later release, thus leading to inconsistencies with scanslations from fan-sources) however, we do not think it would be so serious a concern as to deter you from apping. Our compromise here would be to ask that if an official 'canon' translation were to be released during your time in Ethyraia that any details that differ be gently retconned to reflect those changes.

Your second question is very interesting! We are totally open to manipulative characters being played in the setting, and are willing to work with you to ensure that their actions aren't being taken as overtly suspicious by the NPCs as long as they are taking care ICly. If their manipulation tends towards sabotage, as an example, we could collaboratively engineer a situation where another NPC takes the fall for it! We would also encourage you to feel free in creating a small network of NPCs that can be ICly manipulated to be the 'wheel men' for any larger ploys or plots!

We certainly would not render your character unplayable as a consequence of anything they've undertaken without prior discussion (and your agreement, such as in the case of you wishing to drop!) so we hope that puts you at ease about that particular point of interest!

A character with insectoid features would be looked upon as alien, but not to the point of broadly exhibited xenophobia. Earth in the 29th century has experienced their fair share of alien contact, and though there may be the occasional NPC that could potentially be judgmental about it, we would leave this to you as a player to navigate so as not to enforce a potentially upsetting situation on you. You would be free to play with as little obvious bias as you would like. On the flip-side of that, we would stress our preference that negative encounters focused solely on appearances or xenophobia not be leaned on as a narrative tool to the point of excess.
